Alexander Herbert Imich was a Polish-born American chemist, parapsychologist, and supercentenarian, who was the president of the Anomalous Phenomena Research Center in New York City. He was born in 1903 Częstochowa, Poland (then a part of Russian Empire) to a Jewish family. Since Imich's death, the world's oldest known man is Sakari Momoi of Japan (born February 5, 1903, one day after Imich).
