He had an idea that every home should have an affordable electric vehicle in its driveway. He was the founder of Sebring-Vanguard a Florida based company that produced the Citicar - the tiny, trapezoidal, electric automobile made from 1974 to 1977. He sold more than 2,000 of them, decades before General Motors and Nissan came up with their own versions.
