Biography (Life of Georges Moustaki)

He was the French singer and songwriter who was known for his romantic ballads. Moustaki born in Greece, brought up in Egypt and later arrived in France (in 1951). During his career he wrote many hits, including for Edith Piaf's 1958 hit song - Milord, then for Dalida, Françoise Hardy, Barbara, Brigitte Fontaine, Herbert Pagani, France Gall and many others stars. Moustaki passed away on May 23, 2013 in Nice.
