Bola to logisticky náročná operácia, ktorá si vyžadovala veľa prosenia, lobovania, chodenia za správnymi a vplyvnými ľuďmi. Zároveň to bolo nesmierne jednoduché. Stačilo byť človekom, neodvracať tvár, využiť svoje možnosti, talent, nadchnúť iných. Mladý Brit Nicholas Winton to dokázal a pre 669 detí a ich rodiny sa stal mužom, ktorý naplnil to, čo čítali v náboženských knihách. „Ak zachrániš jedného človeka, zachrániš celý svet. Ak zachrániš dieťa, urobil si ešte viac.“
