I believe this was the Regina my family came to know and love. If so, she taught me to cook some of the most wonderful things I use to this very day. I spend summers in Ft. Salonga, L. I. and Regina was our next door neighbor. I met her when I was 6 years old, and she remained a lifetime friend. I have since revisited her home, and it is quite changed. However, I will never forget her neice Barbara, her nephew Joey and her love for flowers and animals. She greatly influenced how I think today, and I have her candlesticks from Germany on my dining room table. She gave these to my Mother, who died in 1981. If this is the Regina I knew, I will never forget all the wonderful food we ate and the great recipes I now pass on to my Grandchildren. RIP Regina.
