known by the pseudonym, Tignous, was a French cartoonist. He was one of the collaborators of the satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo. Verlhac was of Ecuadorian origin. In 1980 he began to work in Charlie Hebdo. He was also a contributor to the weekly news magazine Marianne and the monthly publication, Fluide Glacial. One of the 12 victims of the terror attack on Paris-based satirical newspaper Charlie Hebdo included the newspaper's founder, its editor, its deputy chief-editor and several cartoonists.
