Damion Ladon Cook was born on April 4, 1969 in Los Angeles, California to William and Gloria Cook (Kling).
He had a lifelong passion for music and was attached to his guitars. He was a member of Spade Ghetto Destruction and recorded a self-titled album with the group in 1994. Damion accepted Christ and loved to read The Bible. He enjoyed spending time with his children and late night conversations with his mother and siblings. He had a special relationship with dogs which was evidenced until the very end of his life.
Damion made his transition on October 31, 2008. He leaves to cherish his memory his parents, Gloria of Mt. Clemens, MI and William of Orange County, CA; children, Lativa, Darion and Daion of Los Angeles and Nubia of Las Vegas, NV; two sisters, Reve’ of New Haven, MI and Isha of Midland, MI; a brother, Derrick, of New Haven, MI; grandmother, Fannie; common-law wife, Filipinas (Fili); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was predeceased by his daughter, Damiona; grandparents, Ella Mae and Leo Relf and Clyde Crayton.
