Francis Ward Shapley was cremated and his ashes were put in the ocean in Redondo Beach, California near where he lived. He died of Cardiomyopathy Technically the fluids from his heart entered his lungs and drowned him while he was sleeping. He was survived by his wife, two children and his ex-wife, the mother of his children, his mother and four siblings. You may inquire for more information at balencialopez@gmail. com
