Madhav Vittal Kamath was an Indian journalist. He was the former chairman of Prasar Bharati. He worked as the editor of 'The Sunday Times (India)' for two years during 1967-69 and its Washington Correspondent of 'Times of India' during 1969-78. He also served as editor of 'The Illustrated Weekly of India'. He was the Honorary Director of Manipal Institute of Communication, when he died. He had also authored nearly 50 books on various topics. He was awarded,Padma Bhushan award in 2004.
