He was a Mexican police reporter. He had 15 years covering the police beat and before “The Sonora Regional” worked as a correspondent for the now defunct Sonora state newspaper, The Independent and as a freelance photographer. His body was found inside a black plastic bag near the city of Empalme, 110 kilometres south of Ciudad Obregon, where he had been abducted.
