Family, relatives and friends

Family and relatives are two essential components in our life. A family is typically made of our relatives, either by blood or legal means (marriage or adoption). The difference between family and relatives is that family refers to a group of relatives that typically lives together whereas relatives refer to people who are related to us by blood or legal means. In general parlance, family typically refers to the parents and children living together whereas relatives refer to the members of the extended family including grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Michelle Butinsky Sheldon Language: English Report abuse

Michael's ashes were spread on top of a mountain in Barnet, Vermont which is what he wanted. Michael was my older brother and I miss him so much. He was funny, sensitive and he had cancer when he was only 18 or 19. He had Hodgkins cancer and was saved by having radiation treatments. Unfortunately, they burned his heart with radiation and he died at the age of 36. Michael's father Paul and mother Alice just died in 2010 and they never stopped crying over the loss of their son. Michael had a sister, Michelle Butinsky, 2/10/52 who is happily married and has 7 children. Two brothers, Craig Butinsky of Palm Bay, FL and Paul Butinsky of CoCo Beach, FL. Michael was named for my father's brother who died in a plane crash over Poland during WWII. He was only 22 years old. Our family lived on Pearl Street (I think it was number 9) in Brattleboro, Vermont and then moved to Vernon, VT. My dad lived in Vernon, VT most of his life and our mother lived in Brooklyn, NY and then Putney, VT. We miss my brother and hope he's dancing with his Savior in heaven.
