He was a Russian film director. In 1964, Kolosov shot the first Soviet TV series called “Draw the Enemy’s Fire upon Oneself.” The series was about WWII, and Kolosov’s wife Lyudmila Kasatkina played the main part.
In total, Sergey Kolosov shot 19 films. The most well-known are “The Taming of the Shrew,” after Shakespeare’s play, “Operation “Trust,” “The Cuba Novella,” “The Darling,” based on Chekhov’s short story, and “Mother Maria.”
