Karl L. Hullsick was an American architect & engineer. In 1921, he opened his own architectural & engineering firm, the K. L. Hullsick Company, in Norfolk, Virginia. This firm was active until about 1931. His best known work was an $80,000 Armory building for the City of Norfolk that was built in 1923. Located at 225 E. Princess Anne Road, it was destroyed by fire in the 1980's. Hullsick was not a prolific architect during those years in Norfolk and as a result, his work has not been well documented and he has largely been forgotten.
