Vernon was my husband for nine years. He was a CWO2 in the United States Navy. He spent over 20 years serving this country. Upon retirement he worked for the US Postal service in Henderson, Nevada.

Vernon had two daughters by a previous marriage. Melanie, and Verna Lea.
