Stephanie is my grandmother, we were extremely close and she passed away at her home when I was six years old; it was the day before my brothers first birthday. She hated having her picture taken, which is sad because we don't have much to look back on to remember her other than memory. Grandma is buried in Braceville Cemetery in Braceville, Illinois; her mother, father, and several other relatives are buried here as well, but on the other side. Her cause of death was Metastatic Melanoma; we didn't know for long before she was taken from us. Surviving her death is her husband, John Latham, one son, Tony (Lindsey) Latham, and four daughters, Alicia (Dennis) McGaughlin, Jennifer(Duane) Potts, Alana (John) McNabb, and Jill (Matt) Niewinski and at the time there was only three grandchildren, Brooke, Lane, and Chase; but today there are 15 grandkids. Stephanie loved her family more than anything. She grew up in the Mazon area where she graduated high school and became a beautician. Stephanie loved to garden, can, and cook; she was truly an outstanding women who was taken too soon.
