Lawrence David Phillips - funeral / obituary
Lawrence David Phillips, 53, of Wichita Falls passed away Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012.
The funeral liturgy will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012, at St. Jude Catholic Church of Burkburnett with Rev. Richard Kirkham, celebrant. Rite of Committal will follow in Burkburnett Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Burkburnett.
A son of the late Joan C. (Roessler) and Andrew W. Phillips, he was born March 26, 1959, in Konigstein, Germany. He worked at S.A.F.B. Commissary and the Dining Hall for many years. He enjoyed the outdoors, crafts, and baking. Lawrence was generous to all that he met.
He is survived by his brother, William Phillips and wife Mary of Montague County; three nephews, Stoney Webb, Jeremy Webb, both of Wichita Falls, and Adam Phillips of Montague; three aunts, Norman Emerich of Oregon, Irene Krass of Georgetown, and Beverly Phillips of Ohio; his uncle, John Roessler of California; four great-nieces and four great-nephews.
The family will receive friends at 6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 13, 2012, followed by a Rosary Service at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Burkburnett.
