known professionally as Ali Baba (Sindhi: علي بابا, Urdu: علی بابا), was a Pakistani dramatist, story writer, and literary figure of the Sindhi language. He died on 8 August 2016 due to brain hemorrhage in civil hospital Karachi. Ali Baba has written Mohan Jo Daro (1985) (Sindhi: موهن جو دڙو) a novel, Dharti Dhikana (Sindhi: ڌرتيءَ ڌڪاڻا) (short Stories), Lahandar Sij Ji Laam, (Sindhi: لهندڙ سج جي لام) (Stories), Runj Sajo ee Rat Phura, Muhijoon Kahaniyun (Sindhi: منهنجون ڪهاڻيون), Sindhbad (Sindhi: سندباد), Musafir (Sindhi: مسافر) and many more.
