He was my science teacher at Jordan Jr. High in Palo Alto, Ca the 1967-68 year. We had a combative relationship, which is the best kind of relationship a teacher and student can have because you talk so much. In later years, I would visit him at Palo Alto High, where he was transferred, every now and then. The last time I saw him was in the mid 80s. He was delighted to know that I went on to get a college degree.
