I am Anna Scully's great-granddaughter. Catherine Scully Hughes was my grandmother and Anna Scully's first child. I recall going to Great Grandma Anna's wood-framed house when I was about 5 years old. My sister and I would play on a rusty, old swing set in her yard that had no swings. It made for a good climbing apparatus, though. My Mom and Dad, Joyce and Ben Kluesener, always told me she was a great cook. I was told she died of uterine cancer, had advanced arthritis and was bald as a cue ball. My Mom, Joyce, was her granddaughter and loved to cook with her. Grandma Scully had the entire family over to her house every Sunday and cooked for them. She had an invalid son, whom she valiantly took care of for his entire life.
