He was a Soviet-Russian science fiction author. Arkady together with his younger brother Boris were notable writers of the 20th century. They contributed to the world fame of Russian sci-fi literature. They wrote provocatively fiction works that ponder upon serious social, philosophical and psychological issues. Their books was translated to many languages.
