was Temple University's eighth president, and the 8th president of Wayne State University. One of Wayne State University's libraries, David Adamany Undergraduate Library, was his creation. Adamany later served for a time as head of the Detroit Public School District.David Adamany passed away Thursday November 10, 2016. He served as president from 1983 to 1997.
