He was an American politician who served as a Florida Commissioner of Agriculture in period from 1961 to 1991. Conner started his politician career when he served as a president of his county 4-H club and the Bradford County 4- H Council. Later also served for Future Farmers of America and as state and national FFA president. He died one day before his birthday, on December 16, 2012.
