Blaha was a Roman Catholic bishop. He was ordained a priest in 1967. During his spiritual career he served as a spiritual especially during weekends in The King-Hradecka diocese. In 1999 was appointed as the parish vicar. He died after a severe illness at Hospice St. Elizabeth in Brno, on December 13, 2012.
