He was a Hungarian-born Canadian film producer. Kemeny began his career working in film distribution and promotion in Hungary. Then he left Hungary. A few years later he went to Montreal and he worked as a editor at the National Film Board. Kemeny produced more than 80 films like Memorandum, The Best Damn Fiddler From Calabogie to Kaladar and Don’t Let the Angels Fall. He was twice married. He died at his home in Sedona, Arizona, the cause of death was a cancer.
