General Owoye Andrew Azazi joined the Nigerian Defence Academy, Regular Combatant Cadet- Course 12 on 1972 and two years later was commissioned 2nd Lieutenant. He was appointed as a National Security Adviser (October 2010 - June 2012) and he also served as a Chief of Defence Staff of Nigeria. He died on December 15, 2012.
