He was an English chemist and nuclear scientist known as an chief chemical engineer at Aldermaston and the headquarters of the British atomic weapons programme. He married Jean Bracey and they had together a son, Steven, and daughter Barbara. White had also four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Passed away on January 8, 2013.
