My father was a gentle soul full of wisdom. I was only twelve when he past but of those twelve years I knew him well. He never yelled or spanked us growing up but talked to us regarding our actions. We had to be accountable for our actions and think of better ways to handle problems.
My father taught us to be honest and not to take what was not ours. Also, not to be jealous what we saw others to have.
It is now sixty-one years since his passing and I still think how lucky I was to have such a wonderful dad.
