was a Burgenland Croatian (Austrian) Catholic priest, translator, writer and historian.
He was born in Szentpéterfa (Hungary, Vas County). In his birthplace he finished the elementary school. He studied in Szombathely, Vienna, Rome and Jerusalem. In 1952 and 1955 he was chaplain of Croatian settlements Nikitsch, Parndorf and Kroatisch Minihof in Burgenland.
Since 1958 he was the parish priest in Klingenbach, where he directed the amateur Croatian theater group. Geosits is author of many publications, monographies and religious books in Croatian, German and Hungarian language. His great work is the first complete Bible translation in Burgenland Croatian.
