He was a Malaysian politician who began his political career in 1968 by joining the MCA. Later he served as a Minister of Energy, Water and Communications in the Malaysian cabinet. He married Toh Puan Wong Yoon Chuan and they had together three children. Lim passed away at his home in Tropicana, on December 22, 2012.
