He was a legendary Slovak handball player. Vincent Lafko was one of the most important figures of Handball in Slovakia. He played for Tatran and in 1971 with which he earned championship title. One year later he competed in Olympic Games in Munich where won the silver medal. After his active playing career he worked as a coach and also led a Slovak handball male representation.
