Accuracy of file is correct. He died at a VA hospital near Reedsport, Oregon, with his second wife by his side. His first wife, Patricia Ruthann Baker-McArdle-Sherwood died three years before. Together he and Patricia had five children, while he and his second wife, Ruth Ann Bietz-Day-McArdle had none, although Ruth has a daughter from a previous marriege.
