Anicet Largenté was my (step) great-grandfather. I never got to know him very well, but I'm lucky to have known him at all. He served in the US armed forces in World War I, reaching the rank of corporal, my Dad once told me. He spent his last years at 1904 Blake Street in Berkeley, CA. He and his wife are buried in Alta Mesa Memorial Park in Palo Alto, in Mausoleum #2.
