This did not allow me to post a biography, so as i understand it if this is the correct Abe Toles , he was born near Odessa , Russia, or the Ukrane depending on how you see that, in my imagination he left there and got to Hamburg , Germany perhaps and was working for a guy who made fur, and fur hats and then got a boat to the USA. Not sure how he got to Minneapolis? Minnesota. He took needles and thread and such from the city and went out in the country and traded them for eggs and milk and such and went back to the city and traded that for... later he had a dry cleaning shop in North Minneapolis, so might be talking 1920s-30? some of Kid Kan the gangter's guys came in and tried to make him pay "protection" he was stuborn and so his Daughter mary , some him come out of the Dry cleaner shop , head bleeding from the gun but the gansters broke on his hed. and when they came back, he still would not , be unstuborn.
