Robert Davenhall (my father) married Phyllis Arlene Williams (my mother also from Scranton) in 1949 and eventually moved and settled in up state Dutchess County, New York into the town of Clinton Corners approximately 120 miles North of New York City, 12 miles east of Rhinebeck, NY on the Hudson River. On a partial of land given to them by their landlord and friends, Bib and Homer Calver, they hand built a modest home on top of Pumpkin Lane in 1958 for the material cost of $12,000 dollars US. There they raised 4 children starting with Mark, Priscilla, Matthew (and myself) Andrew Davenhall on my Father's IBM salary through the 1950's 60's and 70's. After 26 years of rural country living and all that entails my parents divorced in 1977. My Father Robert remarried and relocated to Culpeper, VA. My Mother and eventually all my siblings relocated to the West Coast of the United State during the late 70's and early 80's. My Brothers Mark Davenhall, Matthew Davenhall and myself settled in the Greater Seattle area of Washington State. After a decade of living in San Diego, CA my sister Priscilla Jordan Davenhall relocated and settled in the tiny town of Seaside, Oregon where she resides to this day 5 May, 2011.
