This is my Mother. Everyday I think about her and, miss her and, wish she was here to talk to and, get that everloving hug that she was so good at giving. Her wisdom and caring ways were the backbone to this family. We all try to follow in her tradition in keeping this family together. Her favorite holiday was Thanksgiving, Why? because that was the only time she could get and demanded it from everyone to join together and sit at the great table and enjoy a dinner especially prepared by her. She would listen to stories of good and bad, joy and happiness, but most of all, she would endure the painful corny jokes told and she would be the one to laugh at them.. She was a wonderful and gracious woman who helped others even when she couldn't. But her main goal in life was to watch her children and grandchildren grow and succeed in life. During her illness, i remember like it was today her words, she said to me, "Sharon, please don't cry anymore, I lived my life and am happy to have seen and done everything i have done, but, most importantly, I was able to see my children and grandchildren grow and prosper".. I will never forget those words, i will never forget her strenght, i will never forget her smell and favorite things, why? because she is MY MOTHER!!! she was my best friend, my mentor, my life.. I live through her, I will always love her.. Te Quiero Madre Mia y un dia nos vorveremos a ver...<3
