This is my grandfather. His wife was Mary Belva Netherlain (maiden name of Biddle). Children: Pauline "Pat", Dalford, Robert, Aubrey, Ralph, Mayre, Stanley and my father, Houston. Uncle Stan is the lone survivor. Leving's father was Jesse David Netherlain, but I have no information about siblings. His mother was Mary Eugene Netherlain, (McNeal was her maiden name). Jesse was the last child born to John Britton Netherlain and was born sometime shortly after his JB's death as a Sgt of the Texas 7th Infantry of the Confederate Army. JB entered the war as a 35 year old farmer in Texas, in October of 1861 and died of disease in Clarksville Tn in January of 1862. JB's widow later married his younger brother, Lewis. JB had several other children, and is reportedly from England, born in 1826.
