John Ingwald Askegard was my Great Grandpa. I was very young when he passed but do have several memories of him. He lived on and owned a 160 acre farm in Ashley, Michigan. Long after his death I spent many Deer seasons hunting on the old farm until my grandfather sold it in the mid 1980's. Ingwald owned the farm, had a milk business and gasoline business. He also sat on the school board as he valued education greatly. Ingwald and his wife Lulu loved their family very much and are both remembered and missed.
