If this is the man I knew, his nickname was Squeaky and he worked for Cetlin & Wilson Shows in the late 1940s as the show's sound man. He had a station wagon with a wire recorder and speakers on the roof and played music to attract the passing traffic to the carnival's main gate. He also did all the repairs for all the sound amps on the show. I spent hundreds if hours with him as a pre-teen learning about the tube amplifiers and how they worked. He was a brilliant man but had no family he ever mentioned. I remember him saying at some prior time he worked for RCA Corporation.
