SEEKONK, Mass. Ellen B. Standeven, 96, formerly of Seekonk Commons, died Friday [Oct. 7, 1988] at the home of her niece, Francis Cassidy of Warwick, RI. Ellen was born in Stockport, [Greater Manchester,] England, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Francis (Clarke) Bury. She leaves a sister, Edna May Aspinall of Seekonk. [she was predeceased by siblings Elizabeth Ann Bury Nimmo, Walter Bury, Henry Bury, Minnie Bury Smith, and Ernest Bury.]

Based on further research, her sister Elizabeth Ann Bury never married. Elizabeth Nimmo (Frances Cassidy's mother) was the daughter of of Ellen's sister Margaret "Minnie" Bury Smith.
