Anne Bick was christened on July 28th 1633, also at St. James, Clerkenwell. One J. Bick, aged 24, a famine emigrant, sailed from Liverpool aboard the "Waterloo" bound for New York on May 22nd 1847. The first recorded spelling of the family name is shown to be that of Walter Bike, which was dated 1273, The Hundred Rolls of Cambridgeshire, during the reign of King Edward 1, "The Hammer of the Scots", 1272 - 1307.
