Alexander Ivashkin Alexander Ivashkin was a cellist, writer and conductor residing in the United Kingdom. He also played electric cello, viola da gamba, sitar and piano.. His recitals, radio and TV recordings, and appearances with the world leading orchestras included performances in more than 40 countries. Alexander Ivashkin was a regular guest at important music festivals in Europe, Britain, the United States, Japan, Australia and New Zealand. He appeared regularly as soloist with some of the world's leading orchestras.
