He was an American author and interfaith humanitarian. During his career Lozoff wrote several books (like We're All Doing Time, It's a Meaningful Life: It Just Takes Practice, The Wonderful Life of a Fly Who Couldn't Fly and A Little Boy in the Land of Rhyme) and spent decades promoting spiritual rehabilitation among prisoners. Lozoff and his wife founded the Human Kindness Foundation. He died after a motorcycle crash in Hawaii on November 29, 2012.
