Biography
David Richard Ellis He was an American film director and stuntman who directed 2006’s Snakes on a Plane. David started his film career as a stuntman in movies, including Smokey and the Bandit, notching up action credits with Sharky’s Machine, V, The Beastmaster and Patriot Games. His life survived by his wife, Cindy, and their three children. Passed away on January 7, 2013. His body was found in his hotel room in Johannesburg, South Africa.
