Biography

Emil Švec Emil Švec bol slovenský politický väzeň, ktorý sa ako študent pripojil k piešťanskej skupine Bielej légie, ktorá viedla aktívny odpor voči formujúcemuu sa totalitnému komunistickému režimu. V tom období bol Emil Švec zatknutý ŠtB a odsúdený za velezradu na šesť rokov väzenia.Po prepustení ilegálne opustil komunistické Československo a vo Viedni študoval na leteckom inštitúte. V roku 1962 bol prepadnutý a násilne unesený z Rakúska príslušníkmi ŠtB a následne odsúdený bez doručenia rozsudku k 15 rokom za údajné vyzvedačstvo. Jeden z mála skutočných politických väzňov, ktorých nezlomil ani dlhoročný trest a represie na oddelení Hlava I. v Leopoldovskej väznici. Na slobodu bol prepustený v roku 1977, no až do roku 1989 mal so štátnou bezpečnosťou problémy.
