This is my Uncle Pete. I have the fondest of memories of him. Our family was rugged and chaotic and violent. But Uncle Pete was gentle and caring and loved his mother, Minnie Mae Davis, very very much. He was so respectful amidst a waring clan. He and my step-mother, Claudette, spent a time together and out of that she had a beautiful baby girl named Angelique LaRae Davis. Secrets were big in my family, but finally before Angel passed away, she was told of her true father... Estes Bright. I spent a good bit of time with her, sharing stories of gentleness and goodness about her father. Time is so short. When Pete and Claudette (my step mother) left and she returned.. my Uncle Pete never came back. I have missed him all this time. That was many many years ago. I pray you have found a place of peace to live and not a place of torment. You brought a bit of peace to our lives and Angel was my sister, whom I loved dearly.
