He was a New Zealand community activist. Clatworthy was a successful businessman and significant volunteer. He worked as a leadership in the New Zealand Cancer Society and also served as a President in period 2006 to 2009. He was also a foundation Director of the Daffodil Enterprises, President of the Auckland Racing Club Committee, Chair of the Young Enterprise Trust and President of the Auckland Chamber of Commerce. He died on December 5, 2012 in Auckland, New Zealand.
