Biography

Herman Solloway Herman Solloway was my uncle on my mother's side. He was also my grandfather's brother. (Monty Solloway) He had a hard life because he was badly woundded in WWI by the Germans using mustard gas! I think he was one of the kindest men I ever knew! I remember him as he would sit at the head of the table during Seder Dinners for Passover. He would say the prayers in Hebrew and remind us all about the Exodus from Egypt and all the suffering of the Jewish People. He was a faithful husband to Anna Solloway, and raised three beautiful children. (Two boys and one girl) I loved him very much and miss him terribly. I wish he were still here so I could tell him that!
