Biography
Hiromori Kawashima He was a Japanese professional baseball Commissioner. Kawashima served as a deputy chief cabinet secretary of Prime Minister Kakuei Tanaka and as a prresident of Japan Railway Construction Public Corporation. Later he entered to the world of basketball as a president of the Central League and as a commissioner of the Nippon Professional Baseball Organization. He was inducted into the Japanese Baseball Hall of Fame. Kawashima died on December 9, 2012 in a Tokyo hospital.
