Irven R Croy Irven Ray Croy, Jr. (Ray) 61, a beloved Father, Grandfather, Brother, and Friend, lifelong resident of Kansas City and Lake of the Ozarks areas, died suddenly and unexpectedly Saturday morning (3/15/2008) of natural causes. Ray, a graduate of Raytown South High School class of 1965, was a proud member and former President of Sprinkler Fitters Local Union 314, and retired from American Fire Sprinkler Corp. after nearly 30 years of service. Ray was the son of the late Irven Ray Sr. (Bud) and Zelma Croy of Raytown. Survived and greatly missed by his son and daughter-in-law Scott and Patti Croy, grandchildren, Alex and Katie Croy, sister and brother in law, Larry and Donna White, and by many friends who will miss him dearly. Funeral services will be held at 12 noon with visitation from 11-12 noon Wednesday March 19, 2008 at D.W. Newcomer's Sons Floral Hills Chapel; cremation. Officiating, Pastor Lydia K. Istomina First United Methodist Church of Raytown. Dearest Dad, Grandpa, We will always love and miss you more than anyone can know. Your strength and wisdom made us everything we are today and will become in the future. We only wish that we could have had a chance to say good bye and tell you how much we love you one more time. The lives of all who knew you were enriched by your presence, warmth and smile.
