Biography
Jeffrey Thomas O'Connell He was an American legal expert and professor. O'Connell helped devise the model for "no fault" auto insurance to protect traffic accident victims, loower car insurance rates and also curb ambulance-chasing lawyers. During his professional career he also taught at the University of Illinois, the University of Iowa and later served at the University of Virginia as the Samuel in period from 1980 to 2012. Passed away on January 6, 2013 at his home in Charlottesville.
